Flynt electric van set for 2026 European launch
EV start-up Flynt has revealed its first electric van, which it says will go on sale in Europe in 2026 despite the company owning no factories of its own.
The Dutch firm says it is an “asset-light OEM” that plans to partner with China’s MiracoMotor to develop and build its new vehicles in China based on Flynt’s insight into European user demands.
“We’re not a carmaker in the traditional sense,” said Dr. Daniel Kirchert, founder of Flynt. “We’ve built a smarter, more flexible model – one that puts customer needs first, and uses the best global technology to deliver world-class electric vans faster and more cost-effectively than legacy players ever could.”
Flynt’s first vehicle is an all-electric large van positioned to compete with the Ford E-Transit and Renault Master E-Tech. Its makers say the 3.5-tonne eLCV will be based on 800V architecture and offer up to 310 miles of range from a 100kWh battery, plus 220kW DC charging. Both figures would put it significantly ahead of the competition.
Motor specifications haven’t been revealed but Flynt says it will come with front-wheel-drive, rear-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive options, and will offer up to 16.5m³ of cargo space and a 1,630kg payload.
There’s no word on pricing yet.

The team behind Flynt say its unusual approach means it can use its local expertise to build a vehicle to meet the demands of European users, while exploiting the speed and scale of China’s EV’s development and manufacturing.
Laura Peschke, co-founder of Flynt, said: “We’ve spent the last 18 months in constant dialogue with customers across Europe – from logistics to construction to service fleets.
“This vehicle is the result of that ongoing co-creation process. It reflects real needs, not assumptions. Being close to the customer isn’t just a strategy for us – it’s who we are.”
A prototype of the Flynt electric van was shown in China in early 2025 and the company says that vehicle will arrive in Europe this summer for testing and promotional purposes. After that, Flynt plans to launch the van in initial European markets in 2026 ahead of a full roll-out across 26 target markets in the region.
Bosses say they have signed the first distribution agreements and “conversations are ongoing” to secure a “robust partner network”. However, Flynt plans to use a digital-first marketing, sales and service model.
