Genesis leverages Hyundai’s fleet infrastructure to boost UK sales and raise brand profile

Korean luxury brand Genesis is aiming to stand out in the crowded company car market by utilising the extensive fleet infrastructure of its parent company, Hyundai.

Genesis, which became a stand-alone business within Hyundai Motor UK earlier this year, plans to tap into Hyundai’s nationwide aftersales network and existing fleet database to grow its presence among corporate customers.

Jonny Miller, Genesis brand director, explained that the firm’s strategy centres on delivering an elevated customer experience, similar to what its retail clients receive. Company car drivers will benefit from the brand’s hallmark Genesis Personal Assistant, acting as a single point of contact for every stage of the process, from ordering to aftersales care.

Although Genesis isn’t targeting high-volume fleet sales, its focus is on quality, with a particular emphasis on promoting its electric models like the GV60 and GV70. The company has expanded its demonstrator fleet and organised industry events to drive awareness among key partners and potential clients. Miller highlighted the power of “early adopters,” noting how exposure within large organisations often leads to greater interest and uptake.
