Nissan partners with Acciona to introduce Silence Nanocars and e-motorcycles to UK streets

Nissan has confirmed it is set to become the UK distributor for ACCIONA’s car manufacturer Silence, a leading European brand of electric micro-mobility vehicles.

Nissan will hold the distribution and service rights for the Silence product range, starting with the popular S04 Nanocar.

Designed for city driving, this compact, lightweight electric vehicle (EV) is available in two variants: the L6e and L7e. The L6e offers a range of 109 miles and a top speed of 28mph, while the L7e has a range of 92 miles and a top speed of 54mph. Both variants are powered by two 5.6kWh batteries, with flexible charging options including direct charging, battery swapping at dedicated stations, and home or office charging via a removable battery pack.

Gareth Dunsmore, Managing Director of e-Micro Mobility at Nissan AMIEO, expressed his enthusiasm: “Following Italy, France, and Germany, I am excited to see our partnership now expanding to the UK. Through this Nissan partnership with ACCIONA, we’re ensuring that many more people across Europe have access to electric mobility and can embark on their EV journey.”

Carlos Sotelo, CEO of ACCIONA’s mobility business and Silence, stated: “The needs of drivers in today’s towns and cities are changing. Silence’s light electric vehicles, partnered with Nissan’s strong distribution network, offer exciting and clever options for urban mobility in Europe, shaping a more sustainable future.”

Advanced features for modern mobility

The S04 Nanocar also comes equipped with the My Silence app, providing keyless entry, location tracking, range and battery charge monitoring, and the ability to share vehicle access with friends without swapping keys. This enhances the flexibility and connectivity of urban mobility solutions.
