Farizon launches ‘born-electric’ V7E van for city deliveries

Electric van specialist Farizon is expanding its UK range with the V7E – a mid-sized rival to the Ford Transit City and Kia PV5.

Unveiled at the Commercial Vehicle Show 2026, the Farizon V7E is intended as an affordable, pared-back companion to the Farizon SV, which went on sale last year.

The Chinese brand says the V7E shares the same drive-by-wire technology as the SV, covering steering, throttle and brake, and offers class-leading range and capacity.

Set to cost between £28,000 and £30,500 before VAT or any grants, the V7E will be offered in just one bodystyle – L1H1 – with one motor and a choice of two batteries.

At 4.99m long, the V7E is roughly the same size as the more expensive SV and its 2,73m-long cargo area offers up to 6.95m3 of space, with a payload of up to 1,338kg. All versions feature two sliding side doors and twin rear doors, and feature a low loading height of 500mm.

To keep costs down, the Farizon V7E uses smaller batteries and motors than the SV, which Farizon says are ideal for urban and last-mile delivery providers.

All versions use a 148bhp/170lb ft front-mounted motor with a top speed of 75mph. The entry-level model uses a 50kWh battery with a Transit City-rivalling range of 149 miles. For longer routes, a 67kWh battery has a claimed maximum range of 204 miles. Both models get 100kW DC charging, which will replenish the battery from 20-80% in as little as 18 minutes.

Both also feature vehicle-to-load capability and a 220V three-pin socket in the rear for powering tools and other appliances.

As part of its simple offering, the V7E comes in just one specification and with just three colour choices. A 12.3-inch touchscreen offers Android and Apple compatibility and houses a 360-degree surround view monitor. Keyless entry and start, adaptive cruise control, six-way adjustable ventilated driver’s seat and two USB ports also feature, along with 17 driver assistance systems.

Orders for the Farizon V7E are open now, with first deliveries expected imminently.
