Kia introduces generous EV deals for spring 2025

Kia is offering several deals across its EV range from April 1, 2025 to June 30, 2025.

The South Korean carmaker is giving buyers a 3.9% APR offer with no minimum customer deposit on its all-electric EV3, EV6, and EV9. The compact EV3 SUV is the newest of the crop, and won the 2025 UK Car of the Year award following its arrival for the 2025 model year.

The full-sized, seven-seat EV9 SUV is also an award winner after claiming top spot at the 2024 World Car of the Year awards, and the 2024 UK CotY award. The highly-acclaimed EV6 crossover was introduced in 2021, and revised for 2024. These updates included a new 84kWh battery offering up to 361 miles worth of range, an improved interior, and a new front end.

Like its all-electric siblings, the EV6 is a multiple award winner. Along with the 2.9% APR deal, Kia is giving EV6 buyers a £2,000 Finance Deposit Contribution (FDC), and a £1,000 discount to owners who trade their pre-2024 EV6 for the updated car. Similarly, Niro EV buyers can enjoy an FDC of £1,500 on their new vehicle.

Kia owners who have financed an internal combustion engine (ICE) or hybrid model via Kia Finance and wish to switch to fully-electric can also save £1,000 when making the transition to EV with the ‘Kia EV Finance Upgrade’.

Finally, the EV3, EV6, EV9, and Niro EV will come with a free one-year subscription to Kia Charge, allowing drivers access 875,000 public charge points across the UK and Europe, plus a 15% charging discount over the standard Kia Charge Easy tariff. at most chargepoint operators.

Kia is not the only manufacturer to offer generous discounts across its EV range. In response to the UK Government’s Expensive Car Supplement and implementation of road tax on EVs, Vauxhall slashed the prices of its all-electric line-up to undercut the £40,000 ECS threshold.

Kia’s latest deal is representative of the upward trend in EV adoption across the UK. According to recent figures from Solera Cap HPI, EVs are now clocking up more miles per-year than their ICE counterparts. Moreover, charging points across the UK rose by 32% to a total of around 75,000 nationwide.
