New Jeep Avenger gets light-up grille and updated interior for 2026
The Jeep Avenger has undergone a midlife facelift for 2026, which focuses on visual changes, and an improved interior.
The biggest change to the Stellantis-owned US brand’s smallest crossover is a new illuminated seven-slot grille, which is standard on higher-end models. The chrome surrounding on each slot has also been removed to provide a simpler, more modern look.

Further exterior changes of the new Jeep Avenger include colour-coded skid plates and new bumpers. On all-wheel-drive 4xe models, these are finished with vertical red front details and the Jeep Shield.
Redesigned 17 or 18-inch painted or diamond-cut alloys paired with new wheelcaps displaying a stylised Jeep Willys profile are also part of the Avenger’s 2026 update, are are two new colours – ‘Forest’ and ‘Bamboo’. A black roof can also be specified as an optional extra.
Updated interior quality
The Avenger’s interior has been heavily revised, with Jeep promising it to be “at the top of the segment” in terms of build quality and materials used. The door panels are now finished in a softer material, and the lower part of the dashboard benefits from a padded insert.

Further changes include a new premium cloth/vinyl upholstery, and the 4Xe comes with a rugged “washable and highly durable” green interior. Like the larger Compass, the standard Selec-Terrain control is also now finished in a red, rubber-coated housing to improve visibility and accessibility.
New Jeep Avenger tech
All versions of the Jeep Avenger offer plenty of off-road ability, thanks to optimized offroad angles up to 22° approach, 21° breakover, and 35° departure. Ground clearance is up to 21cm.

As well as Selec-Terrain, Hill Descent Control, new LED matrix headlights, and a 360-degree camera are standard kit on the new Jeep Avenger. Keyless start, cruise control, and a 12.25 infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality are also part of the package.
Electric range and pricing
The Jeep Avenger’s electric powertrain remains unchanged for 2026. Its 53kWh battery can be topped up from 20-80% in 24 minutes, using a 100kWh rapid charger. The Avenger has a total range of 248 miles, while its front-mounted electric motor generates 154bhp.

Order books are now open for the 2026 Jeep Avenger. Prices have yet to be announced, but Jeep recently confirmed that the pre-facelift car now qualifies for the £1,500 Electric Car Grant, bringing starting prices down to £28,499.
