Renault’s Mobilize Duo: the reborn Twizy with a 100-mile range

Renault has unveiled the production version of its Mobilize Duo, the successor to the iconic Twizy, ahead of its debut at the Paris motor show.

This compact electric quadricycle is designed to blend the convenience of urban mobility with the comfort features of a full-size car.

The Duo offers up to 100 miles of range thanks to its 10.3kWh battery and is available in two versions: the L6e, which can be driven without a full licence in the EU, and the more powerful L7e, which reaches speeds of 50mph. With features such as Bluetooth, air conditioning, heated seats, and Lamborghini-style doors, the Duo is set to rival the Citroën Ami and Micro Microlino.

The environmentally conscious design includes 40% recycled materials and promises 95% recyclability. It will be priced from around £10,000 in the UK, with deliveries expected by spring 2025.
