Zaptec becomes Redrow’s preferred supplier of EV chargers
EV charging firm Zaptec has signed a landmark multi-year deal with Redrow to be the housebuilder’s preferred supplier.
The leading British property developer, which in 2022 built approximately 5,700 new homes in the UK, will now use the Zaptec Go charger as one of its chosen charging products for the duration of the multi-year deal across all of its regions.
The supply agreement is the result of a competitive tender process which Redrow conducted to ascertain its preferred EV charger partner.
Commenting on the deal, Justin Savage, Head of Developer Channels, Zaptec, said: “We’re delighted to announce our multi-year partnership with Redrow. To be able to provide our award-winning chargers to yet another housebuilder of Redrow’s size and credibility is a major milestone for us as we look to consolidate our presence and reputation in the UK.”
A spokesperson from Redrow said: “Sustainability is very important to our customers and providing them with the facilities to charge their electric vehicles and reduce their reliance on petrol or diesel is one of the ways we’re helping to build more sustainable homes and communities.
“Through our partnership with Zaptec, we are ensuring that our customers have convenient and reliable charging facilities for their new homes and with Zaptec’s 5-year guarantee customers can enjoy added peace of mind. Everyone at Redrow is looking forward to the next few years of working together.”
