Polestar opens new sales ‘Space’ in Sheffield
Polestar has continued its UK expansion with the opening of its eighth ‘Space’.
The new permanent retail facility has opened in Sheffield’s Meadowhall Shopping Centre, replacing a temporary pop-up store previously located in the centre. Its opening follows the launch of Polestar’s first Scottish retail space in the Silverburn shopping centre in March. Polestar’s ‘Spaces’ operate differently from traditional dealerships and are located in high-footfall areas such as shopping centres to attract passing customers. Designed more like shopping boutiques than car salesrooms, the spaces feature a small selection of Polestar cars, product experts and digital facilities that allow customers to order their new car directly online. The Sheffield Space, located on the first floor of the shopping centre, will feature a sleek, minimalist design and selection of Polestar models, including the Polestar 2, and the incoming Polestar 3 and Polestar 4. Customers will be able to view available cars, take an on-site test drive and arrange the order and delivery of their new car from the Space with help from the on-site team.Head of Polestar UK, Jonathan Goodman said: “We are thrilled to be opening our eighth Space in the United Kingdom during what promises to be an exciting year for the brand.
