Lunaz introduces all-electric £1m+ Rolls Royce Phantom V

Lunaz has launched an all-electric Rolls-Royce Phantom V restomod, which is quoted to come with a pricetag in excess of £1m.

Technical details surrounding this one-off, seven-seat build are scarce, but Lunaz confirmed that it is powered by an 80kWh battery. We expect that like other Lunaz cars, the Phantom V will come with CCS fast-charging capability and a range of up to 200 miles.

The Silverstone-based firm added that the Phantom V underwent 5,500 hours worth of re-engineering, with 11,000 components replaced or re-worked.

Inside, the Phantom V’s cabin retains all of the luxury of the original car but has been rethought for the 21st century. As well as swathes of walnut and leather, Lunaz’s Rolls-Royce has “whisper-quiet” climate control, USB charging ports, a privacy screen and an on-board whisky bar for parched occupants.

Further interior details are satellite navigation, wifi, and a subtle infotainment screen for passengers. Up front, the electrified Phantom V retains the toggle switches, dials, and three-spoke steering wheel of the ICE version, manufactured from 1959 to 1968.

Externally, the car is unaltered and this particular version is finished in a deep metallic blue offset by chrome bumpers and matching design features such as the grille, wheels, and wingmirrors.

Lunaz founder, David Lorenz said: “There’s never been a Rolls-Royce Phantom V like this, created to mark a century, it has been remastered to outlast the next.”

Lunaz also manufactures several other British classic cars reimagined as EV restomods. At present, its line-up comprises an all-electric Range Rover Classic, an Aston Martin DB6, a Bentley Continental S, a Rolls-Royce Phantom, and a Jaguar XK.

In early 2025, the company recorded a 150% increase in demand for its cars.
