JustPark celebrates reaching 1,000 community charger milestone
JustPark is claiming to be the fastest growing EV charging network in the UK after reaching 1,000 community chargers.
Since reaching the milestone, the community charging brand is encouraging home charger owners and would-be EV drivers to empower their neighbours to join the JustPark network.
It claims its service, which home charger owners to rent their charging space to their neighbours who may not have the ability to charge at home, gives anyone who wants to buy an electric vehicle the power to do so.
Anthony Eskinazi, founder and CEO of JustPark, said: “JustPark’s community charging network is transforming the way drivers think about charging an EV. With major growth in the country’s electric charging infrastructure required to keep up with increasing demand, we’re providing greater utilisation of our members’ home charging points to help more people find convenient, local charging.”
“We’re delighted to have reached an important milestone with the addition of the 1,000th community charger to our network, but we will not rest on our laurels. Our aim is to encourage thousands more homeowners and businesses with electric charge points to join the network and empower their neighbours to switch to an EV”.
Craig Tonge, founder of Renault ZE Owners Club (RZOC), added: “EV drivers have long enjoyed a sense of togetherness, and our club supports the growth of JustPark’s community charging network. With so many drivers without access to a charger, there is an opportunity for us existing EV owners to support our neighbours in making the switch to an EV.”
