Genesis reveals price and spec for 2025 Electrified GV70
Genesis has confirmed UK pricing for its updated 2025 Electrified GV70 as it begins a refresh of its entire model line-up.
The premium SUV has been ‘comprehensively’ updated and now comes in three trim levels, priced from £65,915. At the same time, Genesis has dropped petrol and diesel versions of the GV70 as it moves to become an all-electric brand in the UK.
Genesis hasn’t revealed exact details of the changes to the car but it is expected to follow the upgrades announced for the Korean market late last year. Those include a revised front end design with the charging port relocated to the centre of the new-look ‘crest’ grille. The adaptive headlights have also been upgraded with new ‘micro lens array’ technology and the rear lights have also been revised. Inside, a one-piece 27-inch display replaces the twin 12.3-inch displays of the previous model, and the climate control panel has moved from the centre of the dashboard to the centre console.
There’s no word on powertrain upgrades, so we would expect the new Electrified GV70 to offer the same 483bhp motor and 74kWh battery as our recent long-term test car, with the same 283-mile range.
The previous one-trim line-up has been enhanced and now features Pure, Dynamic and Luxury grades in place of the previous Sport trim.

Pure specification starts at £65,915 – a £1,615 increase over the previous entry point. All models come with heated front seats and steering wheel, a powered tailgate, road-scanning ‘Genesis Preview’ adaptive suspension and highway driving assist.
The Dynamic trim starts at £70,715 and adds 20-inch wheels, a head-up display, blindspot view monitor and remote smart parking, while Luxury trim starts at £74,915 and adds an electric panoramic sunroof, active noise cancelling, ventilated front seats and heated rear seats – all of which were previously paid-for optional extras.
Jonny Miller, brand director for Genesis Motor UK, commented: “The facelift version of the Electrified GV70 kicks off our move to refresh our entire electric vehicle line up for 2025. Expanding the Electrified GV70 line-up to three trims means we can now encompass a wider remit of customer convenience and boutique trim possibilities.”
Orders for the 2025 Electrified GV70 are now open, with first customer deliveries expected in July.
