Be.EV offers Allstar drivers 20% charging discount

Drivers using the Allstar charging service will get 20% off charging at Be.EV devices for the next month as part of a new partnership.

From now until 12 July, customers using the Allstar Co-Pilot app or Allstar Chargepass, Allstar One Electric or Allstar Electric cards will be entitled to the discount to mark Be.EV joining the Allstar single-payment network.

This promotion will be applied on top of Be.EV’s new pricing tariff, which has cut the charging network’s prices by up to 25%. Allstar customers on retail and non-standard retail pricing can use fast chargers at Be.EV’s sites for 44p/kWh, rapid for 52p/kWh and ultra-rapid for 60p/kWh for the next month.

Be.EV has partnered with councils and retail brands such as Dobbies and Decathlon, as well as pub chains and hotels to turn sites into charging destinations, with 500 devices installed so far and plans to expand to 1,100 by the end of 2025.

Asif Ghafoor, CEO and co-founder of Be.EV, said: “Fleet managers and drivers deserve to have simple charging nationwide. Businesses need their charging to be fast and simple to use, so we’re happy to give Allstar customers access to Manchester’s largest network of rapid and ultra-rapid chargers.

“Our sites have been selected with our comprehensive five-step criteria that incorporates local traffic data. This means they’re the best-placed sites for fleet drivers, who need charging in the most convenient places possible given they’re often on the move and can’t afford to go out of their way to look for EV charging.

“This partnership brings this easy, accessible charging to thousands, at prices that are up to 25% cheaper than our previous price tariffs. Joining up and smoothing out the customer experience is beneficial for everyone.”

Ashley Tate, managing director at Allstar Chargepass UK, added: We’re delighted to have partnered with Be.EV which enables us to continue our commitment to increase the number of rapid and ultra-rapid chargers on our network.

“Together, through Be.EVs exciting growth plans to create charging destinations and our award winning Allstar Chargepass business payment solution, we make paying for EV charging simple and convenient.

“This celebratory offer is the first of its kind for some of Allstar customers which we hope will increase awareness of the benefits of charging on the public network.”
