Andersen to supply Renault EV drivers with designer home charging
Renault, Alpine and Dacia drivers will be able to choose a designer home charger to support their electric car after Mobilize – Renault Group’s financial services arm – signed a new deal with Andersen chargers.
The new arrangement means that customers choosing any EV from the current Renault/Alpine/Dacia range will be able to have an Andersen Quartz charger supplied and fitted for £999.
The cars covered under the tie-up include the Renault 4, Renault 5, Renault Scenic, Renault Megane, Alpine A290, and the Dacia Spring. Meanwhile, the Andersen Quartz home charger packs 7kW of power and is available in a range of 200 colours. The wall-mounted unit is also covered by a three-year warranty, which can be upgraded to a seven years.
The Andersen Quartz charger can also be integrated with solar panels and smart/dynamic EV charging tariffs including Intelligent Octopus Go and E.ON Next Drive – both offer some of the lowest EV home charging tariffs on the market at 7p per kilowatt hour or 6.7p/kWh.

Recently, designer wall box firm Andersen signed a deal with Ovo to supply the latter’s customer’s with its home chargers including the Quartz, A2 and A3 models.
