Inside the October issue: Corsa GSE, a 500-mile iX3 and cheap EVs
The October issue of EV Powered magazine has landed, and it arrives just as the new car hype machine has sprung into overdrive. After a relatively quiet couple of months, announcements have come thick and fast from everyone from Nissan to Range Rover, with Bentley, Audi and Volvo in between.
Our news pages are packed as a result. The Range Rover Electric has finally arrived after a near-two-year delay, with 542bhp, a 372-mile range and a starting price of £154,070. Hot on its heels comes Crewe's first EV, the Bentley Torcal, packing up to 876bhp and 375 miles of range for an expected £173,000 or so.
There's plenty more besides. Volkswagen marks 50 years of GTI with the 322bhp ID.3 GTI, its most powerful GTI ever, while Audi revives the A2 as a 401-mile efficiency machine from around £32,000. Nissan's Twingo-based Pixo city car joins the scrap, Polestar finally gives the Polestar 4 SUV a rear window, and Saudi Arabia's first carmaker, Ceer, reveals the 1,095bhp Exobot.
