Subaru’s Forester e-BOXER awarded 4×4 Magazine’s Best Small SUV of the Year 2020
The Forester e-BOXER – the first self-charging hybrid from Subaru – has been awarded 4×4 Magazine’s Best Small SUV of the Year 2020.
Beating off strong competition, Forester impressed the judging panel at 4×4 Magazine across the board thanks to its wide range of safety technologies, on-road drivability and genuine off-road skills.
Alan Kidd, Editor of 4×4 Magazine, said: “Subaru’s new Global Platform is the gift that keeps on giving. It means the all-new Forester has a roomier cabin than ever, as well as being almost unbelievably entertaining to drive – and one of the safest family vehicles in the world. That’s a hat-trick to be proud of!”
Subaru UK Managing Director Chris Graham commented: “We’re delighted that the all-new Forester e-BOXER has won 4×4 Magazine’s Best Small SUV of the Year 2020. Subaru are committed to building the safest vehicles on the road, with all-new Forester out-performing all other vehicles assessed by Euro NCAP last year. These accolades are testimony to a great product and our vision to produce cars that truly are better where it matters.”
The safety credentials and suitability of Forester as a family wagon have also been confirmed by Euro NCAP, with the all-new model achieving Best in Class 2019 in the Small Off-Road / MPV class – and the best score across all new cars tested by Euro NCAP in 2019.
