Skoda’s all-electric Enyaq has topped the charts as the Czech manufacturer’s best seller during the first half (H1) of 2026, with a total of 8,529 units sold from January to June.
The Elroq fared just as strongly, with 6,902 cars delivered during the same period. It was only the Kodiaq that prevented Skoda’s electric-only models from taking a 1-2 in overall sales across its nine-vehicle UK range.
The Elroq debuted in early 2025, while sales of the Enyaq started in summer 2021. Both cars have become highly regarded in the EV world for their relative affordability, practicality, and ease of use.

During their lifespan, the Enyaq and the Elroq have garnered several awards from the motoring press, including Car of the Year, Best Family SUV, and Best Used Electric Family Car. The Elroq was also the first model to debut Skoda’s new ‘Modern Solid’ design language, which was then promptly grafted onto the facelifted Enyaq.
The sales performance of the Enyaq and the Elroq has helped Skoda achieve record sales figures in Europe throughout H1 this year.
In total, the Mladá Boleslav-based firm sold a total of 222,500 vehicles across the region – a 17.1% increase on 2025. This marks the first time that Skoda has ranked as Europe’s second-best-selling carmaker. The Elroq and Enyaq were the second- and fifth-best-selling EVs in Europe throughout the first quarter (Q1) of this year.

On a more local level, the Enyaq and the Elroq helped Skoda reach its highest ever UK market share of 4.3% this June. Its previous half-year record of 4.2% was set in 2025. Moreover, Skoda ranked fifth overall in terms of nationwide fleet registrations.
This year hasn’t just been a strong year for Skoda in terms of sales success. Alongside the Enyaq and the Elroq, it also added its Epiq crossover and Peaq flagship to its all-electric line-up. While the former is already on sale, order books for the latter will open in September this year with a starting price of £51,980.
