Polestar seeks to defend honours at Mille Miglia Green with ‘Collezion Mille’ livery
Polestar is looking to hold on its Mille Miglia Green title in 2025 by entering long-range versions of its Polestar 2, Polestar 3, and Polestar 4 decked out in special ‘Collezione Mille’ liveries.
The Mille Miglia Green is an EV-focused version of the illustrious Italian event, and has been running since 2021. The event began on June 17 – and will run until June 21. Over the course of five days, it will trace the 1,000-mile route taken by historic internal combustion engine-driven competitors during race mornings with charging breaks scheduled for the afternoon leg.

In 2024, a Polestar 2 Long Range Single Motor piloted by the Italian crew of Mirco Magni and Alessandro Ferruta became the first Swedish car to win the Mille Miglia Green.
Each of the Swedish EV manufacturer’s models competing with the ‘Collezion Mille’ livery come with a yellow ‘dipped’ front end; a nod to Mille Miglia’s tradition of differentiating between drivers during the race. According to Polestar, the Mille Miglia Green colour scheme is an extension of the ‘Arctic Circle’ livery it debuted at the FAT Ice Race earlier this year.

The white circle on the forward door will outline the Mille Miglia Green event details, and will change to a race number once it begins. The numbers 2, 3, and 4 are finished in the green, white, and red colours of the Italian tricolor to celebrate the country where the Mille Miglia is hosted. Meanwhile, whitewall Michelin tyres co-developed by the Polestar chassis team are a further aesthetic nod to the Mille Miglia’s heyday of the 1950s and ’60s.

In reference to the Polestar 2, 3, and 4 each boasting WLTP-estimated range of 409 miles, 438 miles, and 385 miles respectively, brand CEO Michael Lohscheller said: “Polestar cars offer great performance, not only with fast acceleration, but also with outstanding range. We are winning many comparison tests already but to bring our lineup to the historical Mille Miglia Green race in Italy is an ultimate endurance test that brings classic car culture to the future.”
