Nissan is now offering a six-year Service Activated Warranty across its latest line-up of electric-only vehicles.
The eligible models are the new Micra, the new Leaf, and the 2026 Ariya. Future EVs, including the new Nissan Juke, will also qualify. Each car that benefits from the Service Activated Warranty also comes with Nissan’s standard three-year, 60,000-mile warranty.
Following the original warranty’s expiration, customers can activate an additional 12 months of cover for up to six years or 100,000 miles by completing a service at a verified Nissan dealer in line with the recommended service schedule.
According to the Japanese manufacturer, the six-year warranty offers “even greater value and peace of mind for customers.”
Nissan GB’s aftersales director, Nicolas Belaud, went on to comment: “We are hugely excited about our new Service Activated warranty proposition, which we are sure will appeal to customers interested in purchasing one of our award-winning all-electric cars.

Each model in Nissan’s current EV range qualifies for the UK Government’s Electric Car Grant (ECG), which ranges from £1,500 to £3,750. This means that the entry-level Micra with the 41kWh battery can be purchased for £21,495, while the 52kWh ‘Extended Range’ is priced from £23,245.
Irrespective of whether it’s specced with the 52kWh or 75kWh battery, the Leaf comes with the £3,750 ECG applied. As such, pricing begins at £28,849 for the base-spec Engage. The top-spec 75kWh Evolve is the top-spec trim level, starting from £36,249.
The Ariya, meanwhile, benefits from the £1,500 ECG, bringing the price down to £33,500 for the base-spec Engage model. Earlier this week, Nissan sold its 100,000th EV in the UK – a Rebel Red Micra from its Chorley dealership in Lancashire.
