InstaVolt brings 50p/kWh Summer Special deal to West London
Charge point operator InstaVolt has introduced its Summer Special tariff to its Syon Park charging hub in West London until August 31, 2025.
The site is open 24/7, and users with the InstaVolt app or an RFID charging card will now pay 50p per kilowatt hours in line with the Summer Special deal. Those paying via contactless card or mobile roaming will be charged £0.54/kWh.
When the Summer Special period ends, prices will return to the standard rate of 87p/kWh, while InstaVolt App and RFID users will benefit from off-peak rates of 54p/kWh from 8pm to 7am.

InstaVolt’s decision to extend its Summer Special from its recently-opened flagship Winchester Superhub to the capital was driven by positive customer feedback. Syon Park has 14 charging bays, each returning ultra-rapid charging speeds of up to 160 kilowatts.
In addition to being located near to Kew Gardens, Syon Park is close to the M3 and M4 motorways as well as Heathrow Airport. The site also also plays host to Hillier Garden Centre, The Clocktower Café, a Lakeland lifestyle store, Wyndhams Butchers, and a boutique Hilton Hotel.
“Expanding the offer to Syon Park was an easy decision, especially as the summer travel season gets into full swing,” commented Delvin Lane, CEO of InstaVolt. “This is about giving back to our customers and helping them travel further, for less, while enjoying a top-tier charging experience.”
There are over 2,000 InstaVolt chargers across the UK, and each of its charging sites is powered 100% by renewable energy. It also has a reliability rate of 99.8%.

InstaVolt’s cut-pricing is further good news for London in terms of public charging infrastructure. As of April this year, the capital now accounts for one-third of the nation’s high-speed charging infrastructure. It is home to 4,500 rapid chargers and the highest density of public charging devices in the country with 233.6 chargers per 100,000 people.
