GWM UK test drives offering £2,000 discount on Ora 03 and Haval Jolion Pro

GWM UK is giving a £2,000 voucher towards the purchase of a Ora 03 or a Haval Jolion Pro if they are test driven by June 30th, 2025. The offer is applicable to private sales only, and available through participating dealerships.

The £2,000 voucher

applies to the all-electric Ora 03 supermini in Pure, Pro, and GT trim levels, as well as the Chinese brand’s self-charging hybrid SUV, the Haval Jolion Pro. The latter is available in either mid-tier Lux or range-topping Ultra guise.

The Ora 03 rivals the likes of the all-electric Fiat 500, the Renault Zoe, and the Peugeot e-208. The entry-level Pure model starts at £24,995 and comes with a 48kWh battery returning up to 193 miles worth of range. Meanwhile, the Pro – with its £28,995 asking price – comes with a larger 63kWh unit returning 260 miles.

The £32,995 Ora 03 GT benefits from some wider wheel arches, carbon fibre-effect exterior trim, new front and rear bumpers, a rear spoiler with ‘GT’ logo, and plenty of sporty looking red detailing. Despite its racy aesthetic, it retains the Pro model’s 0-62mph time of 8.2 seconds. The Pure is marginally slower, achieving the run in a fractionally-slower 8.3 seconds.

With both the 48kWh battery and the 63kWh battery, the Ora 03 produces 168bhp.

As with all Chinese cars, the Ora 03 is well-equipped, with LED headlights, an integrated rear light bar, and a well-made interior across the range. In terms of tech, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a whole raft of safety features including 360 cameras, smart cruise control, emergency braking, and blind spot detection come as standard.

In further safety terms, the Ora 03 was recently voted as the best-in-class small family car by Euro NCAP, who awarded it five stars in its safety tests.

The Haval Jolion Pro is just as competitively priced with things kicking off at £28,275 for the Lux model, and £30,275 for the Ultra. Both are powered by a 1.5-litre hybrid, producing 186bhp. Its combined fuel consumption is 47mph.

Like the Ora 03, GWM has been generous with equipment and the Haval Jolion Pro benefits from smartphone mirroring, adapting cruise control, a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, a reversing camers, and blind spot monitoring as standard.
