DS No7 SUV launched as 460 mile-range EV with £45,000 starting price
The DS No7 has arrived as the successor to the French luxury carmaker’s best-selling 7 SUV, and will go on sale later in 2026.
Riding on the same Stellantis STLA Medium platform as the Peugeot E-5008, the Citroen e-C5 Aircross, the Jeep Compass, and the Vauxhall Grandland Electric, the DS No7 will be available with two battery choices.
DS No7 battery and pricing
The range-topping front-wheel-drive (FWD) version comes with the same beefy 97.2kWh battery as the flagship DS No8 crossover coupé. Yet the DS No.7 has a higher-riding profile than its larger, lower-riding sibling, meaning the battery’s range drops from 466 to 460 miles.

There is also a four-wheel-drive (4WD) version of the DS No7, which adds a motor to the rear axle to boost power from 242bhp to 370bhp. The additional horses reduce the range to 422 miles. A more affordable entry-level FWD car with 228bhp and a 337-mile, 73.7kWh battery will also be available.

When it comes to charging, the DS No7 offers three-stage regenerative braking and a mediocre 160kW fast-charging speed capable of a 20%-80% charge in 27 minutes for big-battery models. When it hits the market later this year, the DS No7 will be priced from around £45,000 for entry-level models.
Interior and design
Measuring up at 4.6 metres long, the DS No7 sits firmly in mid-sized posh SUV territory, meaning range-topping models can count the likes of the Tesla Model Y Premium, BMW iX3, and Volvo EX60 as its competitors.

Inside and out, DS No7 looks like nothing else in the C-segment SUV category and adopts several aesthetic cues from the stylish DS No8, which heralded a new design language for the brand when it launched earlier this year.
These include a prominent illuminated front grille and a pair of equally bold V-form daytime running lights. Exterior options include large 21-inch wheels and a visually striking two-tone paint finish.

The cabin is equally daring, awash with wooden and embossed aluminium inserts, various textured materials, mood lighting, and gold accents. The DS No7 and No8 share the same quirky X-shaped steering wheel, 16-inch centrally mounted infotainment screen, and 10-inch digital driver display. Built at the Stellantis factory in Melfi, Italy, the DS No7 offers up to 560 litres of boot space.
