Citroen introduces Collection trim to e-C3, e-C3 Aircross, and e-C4

Citroen is now offering its new ‘Collection’ trim across its electric-only e-C3, e-C3 Aircross, and e-C4 range.

Based on the French brand’s mid-level ‘Plus’ models, prices for Collection trim cars have yet to be announced. However, Citroen promises that it adds “carefully selected equipment to offer customers more whilst keeping costs under control”, with order books open from April 1.

Citroen Collection trim exterior

Citroen’s Collection trim sees Infra Red colour clips added to the e-C3 and e-C3 Aircross’ front bumper and rear quarter panels, while the e-C4 gets them on its rear side skirts.

The e-C3 and e-C3 Aircross Collection models come with 17-inch ‘Aragonite’ alloys, while the larger e-C4 rides on 18-inch ‘Amber’ pattern wheels. Across all models, the rear windows are tinted, while a two-tone roof is optional on the former and standard on the latter.

Meanwhile, the Aircross, a larger version of the e-C3, has ‘Aircross’ wording at the bottom of its front door, and a rear B-pillar finished with a gradient-pattern sticker.

The e-C3 and e-C3 Aircross are available in Mercury Grey, Elixir Red, Bright Blue, Banquise White, and Perla Black Nera. E-C4 Collection models come in Perla Nera Black, Mercury Grey, Eclipse Blue, and Okenite White.

Interior design and tech

All Collection models come with a dedicated Urban Blue interior. In both e-C3 models, this is applied to the seat cushion, the centre of the backrest, the fabric-covered section of the dashboard, and the armrest.

Step up to the e-C4 Collection, and the Urban Blue colourway extends across the seats and to the door panels. The e-C4 also shares its dashboard with the range-topping Max model, which features a texture based on the French carmaker’s chevron logo.

Across the range, Citroen adds dedicated Collection trim doormats. Those in the e-C3 and e-C3 Aircross are finished with Infra Red topstitching and the model name, while the e-C4 gets a dedicated Collection logo.

When it comes to tech, the e-C3 Collection gets a reversing camera and electric rear windows, while the Aircross Collection is the first trim in the e-C3 range to come with hands-free start.

Citroen Collection batteries and range

With its 44kWh battery, the e-C3 has a 199-mile range, while the Aircross long range with its 54kWh unit can achieve 250 miles on a single charge. The e-C4 has the same 54kWh pack and returns a range from 219 to 261 miles.
