Andersen adds Porsche paint colours to its charger options

EV charger company Andersen has launched a new range of colours aimed at buyers of the new Porsche Macan EV.

The designer wallbox firm, famous for its customisable units has introduced 13 new colours that match the standard exterior paint options of the new Macan, meaning buyers can colour code their home charger to their vehicle.

The option is available on both the original Andersen A2 and the newer more compact A3 wallboxes, which start from £995.

David Martell, chief executive of Andersen, said: “The launch of the Porsche Macan is a significant milestone for Porsche and the EV industry.

“These new colours will allow all electric and hybrid Porsche customers to match their charge point to their new car, a service that is unique to the domestic charge point market. We are excited to introduce this new range which celebrates the launch of the Macan.”

The new Porsche colours are part of a host of customisation features available on Andersen’s devices. Both the A2 and A3 can be specified with an aluminium or wood finish as standard and customers can choose different colours for the front and side of the unit.

As part of a partnership with design house Callum, Andersen also offers a carbon fibre fascia, and a new deal with luxury sustainable paint brand COAT has seen the two brands create a palette of six new fascias which are now available to order.
