While performance and environmental impact are major concerns, carmakers are also trying to reimagine the in-car experience. Paramount+ has teamed up with BMW and MINI to offer a video service, bringing content from a range of providers to offer news and live shows.

Audi is also integrating DAZN into its e-tron range of EVs, alongside some of its ICE models, so that sports can be streamed within the vehicle. The MMI touch display allows people to watch content on a 10.9-inch screen, even when the car is in motion, so that passengers can watch live sports on the go.

Active Privacy Mode is another feature that has been released, ensuring the front passenger can watch content without distracting the driver. Although the integration of live sports streaming on the go is certainly an exciting step in the right direction, it’s just mirroring the trends we are seeing in other sectors, however.
