Kia announces everything about Vision Meta Turismo GT at Milan Fashion Week 2026
Kia has presented full details of its Vision Meta Turismo GT concept at this year’s Milan Fashion week.
First revealed at a December 2025 event in South Korea to mark Kia’s 80th birthday, the fully-electric Vision Meta Turismo promises to “make EV driving more dynamic, engaging, and visceral” by blending GT themes with “an immersive digital experience” that relies heavily on augmented reality (AR). According to various sources, it could even preview an all-electric version of Kia’s cult hero, the Stinger.
Kia Meta Turismo GT design
The Meta Turismo GT employs Kia’s ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy, which contrasts soft surfaces with sharp, technical geometrics. According to Kia, its low nose and cab-forward architecture is inspired by “the spirit of 1960s long-distance touring” and modern-day jet fighters.
At the bottom half of the front end, the black technical insert houses the car’s sensors, while the rear transitions from soft, flowing curves into a short, truncated tail designed to improve aerodynamic efficiency and stability at high speeds. Kia describes the ultra-slim LED lighting signature as a “focal point” while the glassbox displays an internal space frame.
Interior design and tech
Intended to “evoke a new era of mobility”, the Meta Turismo GT concept is designed to enable deep concentration behind the wheel, thanks to an ultra-slim driver’s binnacle, a lightweight seat finished with mesh fabric, and a joystick for managing the car’s functions.
Adjacent is the 180-degree-rotating passenger seat, with a lounge-like posture for enjoying AR content via the 3D HUD display and engaging with those sitting in the back.
Kia Meta Turismo GT driving
Kia’s daring, wedge-shaped concept will pair physical and haptic controls. The joystick is used to shift the simulated gears, while launch control, and a virtual engine note seek to enhance the connection between car and driver. The driver can also tailor these settings to their preferences.
The Meta Turismo GT gets three experience modes: ‘Speedster’, ‘Dreamer’, and ‘Gamer’. The first focuses on enhancing the sensation of speed, thanks to the wide-angle AR HUD, dynamic sequential lighting, plus various light and sound effects. Dreamer mode is geared towards urban driving and delivers a unique immersive experience via the AR HUD and AR glasses. Finally, ‘Gamer’ is activated when the car is stationary while charging or after a journey. Like with a Tesla, the steering wheel can be used to compete in virtual races, while an external projector can create a group gaming hub.
What’s next?

This is all very vague at the moment, but we’ll be sure to update you with more information about the Kia Meta Turismo GT as it comes. The car can be viewed alongside a lineup of other Kia EV concepts at the Milan Fashion Week’s Salone dei Tessuti on Via S. Gregorio, 29/A, until Sunday, April 26.
