Legal specialists offer advice to accelerate EV chargepoint rollout
Trenches Law firm has launched a service to provide organisations with legal advice to progress electric vehicle charge point installations.
The firm believes its service will help companies prepare for a greener future and will accelerate a transition over to electric vehicles.
It claims that a vital area in making these next steps a reality for the UK is ensuring a wayleave agreement is in place. This is the permission required for installing cables and charge points legally.
This follows the Department for Transport’s £400 million ‘Road to Zero’ Charging Infrastructure Investment Fund and the Government’s planned phasing out new sales of petrol and diesel vehicles by 2030 and hybrids by 2035.
