Bradford City AFC’s new match ball carrier, the Mini VW ID.BUZZ!
Yorkshire-based family automotive retailer and Bradford City sponsor JCT600 has unveiled a remote control Volkswagen ID.BUZZ as a ball carrier for home matches.
The miniature Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle all-electric ID.BUZZ, or ‘Buzz’ as it’s been nicknamed, is an English football league first, and the ‘car’ took centre at its first match over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Produced by the same people behind the remote-controlled VW ID.4 which took football by storm during the UEFA 2020 Euros, the amber and claret coloured Volkswagen remote controlled campervan is the newest addition to Bradford City home games.
“We’re thrilled that “Buzz” will be a permanent fixture at Bradford City AFC home games”, comments Andy Bateman, Customer Experience Director, from JCT600. “Not only is this an English League first but it provides plenty of pre-match entertainment too!”
