Audi A6 and S6 e-tron: fully electric models make their UK debut with confirmed pricing and specs
Audi has officially introduced the fully electric A6 e-tron and S6 e-tron to the UK market, marking a significant step in the brand’s e-mobility journey.
Available in both Sportback and Avant body styles, the new A6 e-tron and S6 e-tron are now open for orders with prices starting at £69,900 and £97,500 respectively.
These models share the advanced Premium Platform Electric (PPE) architecture with the recently launched Q6 e-tron, embodying Audi’s commitment to exceptional performance, efficiency, and cutting-edge technology. The A6 e-tron Sportback, celebrated as the most aerodynamic Audi in history, boasts a drag coefficient of just 0.21, underscoring its efficiency.
Both the A6 e-tron and S6 e-tron offer impressive range and performance figures, with the A6 Sportback e-tron achieving up to 463 miles on a single charge and sprinting from 0-62mph in 5.4 seconds. The S6 e-tron, with its dual motors and quattro all-wheel drive, reaches 0-62mph in just 3.9 seconds and offers a maximum range of up to 405 miles.
The new models feature advanced charging capabilities, with 800-volt technology enabling rapid charging. The A6 e-tron Sportback can add up to 192 miles of range in just 10 minutes using an HPC fast charger, and an 80% charge can be achieved in just 21 minutes.
Inside, the A6 e-tron and S6 e-tron models offer a luxurious and technologically advanced cabin. Standard features include the Audi Multi Media Interface (MMI) panoramic display, a 14.5-inch touch screen, wireless smartphone charging, and the latest Audi connect services. Higher trims, such as the Edition 1, introduce even more premium features, including an augmented reality head-up display, Matrix LED headlights, and ventilated Super Sport seats.
Audi has also confirmed the availability of optional packs, including the Sound & Vision Pack, which enhances the technological experience with features like the augmented reality head-up display and Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system.
With a range of specifications including Sport, S line, and Edition 1, the A6 e-tron models cater to a variety of preferences, while the S6 e-tron is exclusively available in the bespoke Edition 1 trim, offering even more luxury and performance enhancements.
