16,000 EV chargers join Bonnet’s European network

Bonnet has partnered with Italy’s biggest charging network, Enel X Way, adding more than 16,000 charging points to its app.

Enel X Way currently manages over 7,000 locations in Italy with chargers ranging from offering ultra-rapid speeds to slower destination points.

With the addition of Enel X Way, Bonnet users now have access to 24 networks and over 90,000 connections spanning the whole of Europe.

The new partnership will mean both Italian and other European drivers will be able to seamlessly start charging across Italy – this will benefit both commercial fleet drivers, day-to-day users and visiting tourists.

Enel X Way is the latest charging network to be added to Bonnet, following MFG EV Power in the UK and fellow Italian network FTX both joining at the end of 2022.

Alongside easy access to an affordable network across multiple countries, Bonnet users can see real-time data on charger availability through its app, ensuring no time is wasted traveling to in-use or damaged charge points.

As well as its growing network and industry-leading reliability, from just £2 per month, Bonnet users can also enjoy discounted prices of 10% at all listed chargers through its ‘Boost’ scheme, and 15% discounts under its £8 a month ‘Turbo Boost’ plan, whether they are located in car parks, on streets or at motorway services.

Patrick Reich, CEO and cofounder of Bonnet, said: “Enel X Way is leading the way in Italy to reduce carbon emissions and providing a huge number of reliable charging options for drivers.

“We are incredibly excited to add Enel X Way to our app and work with them to further electrify Europe. This announcement also marks an exciting moment for Bonnet as we further accelerate our offer of being the easiest and most affordable way to recharge a car or van in Europe.”
