Updated 2025 Skoda Enyaq EV priced from £39,000 in UK

Skoda has announced that its updated all-electric Enyaq SUV will start at £39,000 when UK sales begin in the second quarter of 2025.

First launched in 2020, the Skoda Enyaq has since become one of Europe’s most popular EVs, with over 250,000 cars sold globally. The Enyaq is Skoda’s first ground-up EV model and is built on the Volkswagen Group’s electric-only MEB platform shared with the VW ID.3, ID.4 and the Audi Q4, as well as the newly launched Skoda Elroq.

Recently updated, the new 2025 Skoda Enyaq features the Czech carmaker’s new ‘Modern Solid’ design language, and is available in three trim levels: the entry-level SE L, the mid-tier Edition, and the flagship Sportline.

The SE L starts at £39,000 and is available with one choice of battery, a 60kWh unit capable of returning 268 miles on a single charge. The most affordable Skoda Enyaq is rear-wheel drive and is only available in the SUV body style. Thanks to 165kW fast charging, it can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 24 minutes.

The SE L comes with front and rear LED lights, heated front seats and steering wheel, and tri-zone climate control. Keyless entry, predictive adaptive cruise control, electric boot with a virtual pedal, and a rear-view camera with front and rear sensors are also standard kit.

The mid-tier Edition is available with either a 60kW battery on the Edition 60 model, or a 77kW battery on the Edition 85 model. In SUV form, the Edition range starts at £40,100 for the 60, and £44,300 for the 85. Prices for the Edition 85 Coupe start at £46,200.

Inside, the Skoda Enyaq Edition gets an electric driver’s seat with massage function, rear side airbags, manual blinds for the rear windows, and power adjustment lumbar support for the passenger seats. Externally, the car benefits from matrix headlights, animated indicators, dark chrome detailing on the roof rails, plus dynamic headlight range control with integrated fog lights.

The flagship SportLine model is all-wheel drive only, and priced from £48,750 for the 85x SUV, and £50,650 for the 85x Coupe. Both body styles receive 20-inch Vega black alloy wheels, sports bumpers and gloss black styling details to give them a sportier aesthetic over other trim levels.

Cars with the bigger 77kW battery can take charge at up to 175kW, achieving a 10% to 80% charge in 28 minutes.

Skoda has sought to make the updated Enyaq more efficient than ever through aerodynamic gains. The drag co-efficient has been cut from 0.257Cd to 0.245 Cd on the standard SUV, while the Coupe is the most aerodynamic model in Skoda’s current lineup, with a Tesla Model Y-beating drag co-efficient of 0.229Cd.

These gains have helped Skoda extract a longer range from the Enyaq. The rear-wheel drive Enyaq 85 and all-wheel drive 85X models return 359 and 332 miles respectively as an SUV. Meanwhile, the slipperier Coupe returns 365 miles with the RWD drivetrain, and 334 miles in AWD guise.

Despite no official announcement, a performance-focused vRS model is expected to join the updated Skoda Enyaq range in the future.
