Rainbow-themed Skoda Elroq Respectline marks European Diversity Month 2025
Skoda has unveiled its Elroq Respectline as part of European Diversity Month 2025, to reinforce its brand commitments to equality, diversity, and human rights.
The one-off model is a rainbow-liveried version of the mid-sized Skoda Elroq SUV, whose full production began in January this year. The rainbow theme carries over to the dashboard and the door inserts, as well as the Tech-Deck Face grille, which is enhanced by animated rainbow-coloured LED lighting.
Skoda’s heritage also features heavily on the exterior with several nods to the Czech language’s hâček; a v-shaped, ‘ch’-sounding diacritic that sits atop the ‘Š’ in the non-anglicised version of the Skoda name.
The Skoda Elroq Respectline debuted at Auto Motor und Sport’s Best Cars 2025 event in Hamburg on May 9, with a second appearance at Skoda’s internal music festival at its home town of Mladà Boleslav the following day.
Throughout summer 2025, the Metronome Prague music festival, Prague Pride, and the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra’s Open Air concert in Czechica’s capital will also host the Skoda Elroq Respectline, as will several stages of this year’s Tour de France.
“Diversity, equity, inclusion, and mutual understanding are cornerstones of Skoda’s corporate culture,” explained Maren Gräf, Skoda’s board member for people and culture. “With the new Elroq Respectline, we are introducing a Skoda brand ambassador that embodies these values.
“Our goal is to be a role model in caring for our employees and fostering a safe, open, and fair workplace for all. For many years, we have been building our corporate culture on these principles in close cooperation with our social partner KOVO Union, our employee groups, and many inspiring organizations and experts.
“We are proud of our commitment to promoting human rights and mutual respect, and we believe the Elroq Respectline will help us carry these values even further.”
Alongside being the Czech carmaker’s ambassador for diversity, the Elroq can also lay claim to being the most powerful production Skoda ever produced, courtesy of the upcoming vRS model.
Set to hit UK shores this summer and priced from £46,650, the Elroq vRS delivers a 0-62mph time of 5.4 seconds, and 335bhp courtesy of a twin-motor setup borrowed from the larger Enyaq vRS.
