Rainbow-liveried Peugeot e-3008 and e-5008 roar into Birmingham Pride Parade 2025

Peugeot has unveiled rainbow-liveried versions of its all-electric e-3008 fastback and full-sized e-5008 SUV to show support for the LGBTQ+ community ahead of this year’s Birmingham Pride 2025 Parade.

Scheduled to debut at the event on May 24th, the livery is based on the Peugeot’s ‘Lion Head’ logo, which has – in various guises – been used as the key pillar of the its identity since its foundation in 1810.

The latest interpretation of the Lion head livery debuted on the Peugeot 9X8 – the brand’s FIA World Endurance Championship hypercsar – in 2024, and has also been used as the basis for a blue, white, and red livery to mark last year’s Paris Motor Show.

The French carmaker is a long-term ally of the LGBTQ+ community, and is a partner of Attitude Magazine, the world’s largest LGBTQ+ media brand. This has led to Peugeot becoming the headline partner of the Peugeot Attitude Pride Awards Europe 2025.

Peugeot’s involvement with Birmingham Pride 2025 aligns with parent company Stellantis’ ‘Togther We Belong’ strategy, which fosters an environment where employees feel heard and are free to be their authentic selves. Thanks to its support of underrepresented communities and marginalised groups, Peugeot’s UK team has been recognised by Autocar’s ‘Drivers of Change’ initiative.

On the back of Peugeot’s latest show of support, Nicola Dobson, the brand’s UK managing director, said: “By reimagining our iconic ‘Lion Head’ in the vibrant colours of the Pride flag, we celebrate the individuality, courage and unity of the LGBTQ+ community.

“Birmingham Pride is the perfect stage to debut these models as the largest and closest Pride Festival to our UK Head Office, where progress, authenticity, and collective joy come together.

“At Peugeot, we believe pleasure and pride are at our core and drive progress, and that starts with feeling seen, valued and celebrated.”

Birmingham Pride 2025 is one of the biggest events of its kind in the UK, with over 75,000 participants and spectators expected to attend over the upcoming bank holiday weekend.

The Peugeot e-3008 and e-5008 both have electric ranges of up to 435 miles and 414 miles respectively and are covered by Peugeot’s eight-year (100,000 mile) piece-of-mind warranty. The e-3008 starts at £36,790 for the entry-level ‘Allure’ trim, and £39,740 for the range-topping GT. Meanwhile, the e-5008 is priced from £39,490 for the Allure, £42,770 for the GT model.

Peugeot isn’t the only carmaker to throw its support behind the LGBTQ+ cause. For European Diversity Month 2025, Skoda unveiled a similarly-liveried version of its Elroq SUV dubbed the ‘Respectline’ to underline its support for equality, diversity, and human rights.
