BYD celebrates two years of rapid growth and European success at Paris Motor Show

BYD is marking its second anniversary of expansion in Europe at the Paris Motor Show, showcasing its innovative electric vehicle line-up and highlighting its ambitious growth plans.

Since its debut in 2022, BYD has launched eight new-energy vehicles (NEVs) in Europe, including the highly anticipated Sealion 7 electric suv, which makes its European debut at this year’s event.

Stella Li, BYD’s Executive Vice President, highlighted the company’s remarkable progress, including the milestone of producing nine million new-energy vehicles globally. BYD’s commitment to innovation is reflected in the Sealion 7, featuring cutting-edge technologies like the Blade Battery and rapid charging capabilities. The company is also expanding its model range in Europe, with plans to build two local production facilities.

BYD’s stand at the show features a range of vehicles for the French market, including the luxury Yangwang U8 suv and the SEAL U DM-i plug-in hybrid SUV, offering impressive range and advanced features.
